Role OverviewThe OPS Chaplain Administrator will lead the Chaplaincy Department in providing comprehensive spiritual care and support to inmates, staff, and their families. This includes coordinating and delivering religious programs, worship services, pastoral counseling, and educational opportunities. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of professional experience as a clergyperson or related experience, and a current written approbation or endorsement by the appropriate official of the ecclesiastical body.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will plan, schedule, and implement dynamic Chaplaincy Services programs, provide pastoral care, conduct inspiring worship services, and teach engaging religious education classes for inmates. They will also administer the Certified Food Option Program and the Religious Diet Program, maintaining detailed records and submitting comprehensive reports.
