OPS Education and Training Specialist

This part-time OPS position is located in Jensen Beach, Florida, and involves working in the Education Center to provide excellent visitor service, interpretation programming, administrative support, and custodial support. The position requires a safety-first mindset and involves operating the front desk, providing answers to frequently asked information, and maintaining the cleanliness of the Education Center. The role also involves assisting with park events, creating flyers, and coordinating volunteer assistance. The position is Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with occasional evenings for park-hosted special events and some holidays.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities and outcomes of this position include operating the front desk, providing answers to frequently asked information, maintaining the cleanliness of the Education Center, assisting with park events, creating flyers, and coordinating volunteer assistance. The position also involves teaching/conducting activities to elementary-aged children, preparing stations/classroom activities, and coordinating closely with Park Staff and the Citizen Support Organization.
