Ops Supervisor I - Sacramento, CA

The Ops Supervisor I will coordinate and supervise all activities on the outbound dock, ensuring operations are coordinated efficiently. The role requires modeling and acting in accordance with CEVA Logistics' guiding principles and core values. The Ops Supervisor I will develop and maintain excellent customer service, plan daily work schedules, and assess priorities based on time sensitivity and available resources. The role involves training new staff, monitoring quality and quantity of jobs performed, and providing advice and guidance as necessary.

What You Will Do

The Ops Supervisor I will develop and maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times. They will plan the daily work schedule, assess priorities, and assign duties to warehouse staff. The role involves reviewing pending jobs or trends, planning for reorganization of warehouse space, and needed changes in levels of supplies, equipment, or staffing needs. The Ops Supervisor I will also train new staff and monitor quality and quantity of jobs performed throughout the day.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum four years related experience
• Minimum one year of supervisory or management experience
• Proven knowledge and experience in dock operations
• Valid state issued driver's license
• Forklift Driver Certification
• DOT Dangerous Goods/Hazardous Materials Certification
