Job Description
We are looking for an Optician Apprentice with a passion for patient care to join our team at Ocala Eye. The ideal candidate will have a strong optical sales background and be willing to learn and grow with our company.

Requirements

  • State licensure is not required, but prior experience in optical sales is preferred
  • Graduation from an approved two-year optician's school or prior dispensing experience
  • ABO certification or current State of Florida licensure as an optician
  • Prior experience can replace the need for state licensure
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require prolonged walking, standing, sitting, and manual dexterity
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
