Role OverviewOpticians are responsible for selling eyewear and eyewear accessories to patients, ensuring they are fitted with the right-size frames and dispense lenses with correct prescription and measurements.
What You Will Do
Delivers extraordinary experience to each patient, takes and returns patient calls, updates patients on order status, and resolves order issues. Assists patients in selecting frames, lens type, and lens treatments, and educates them on proper eyeglass and contact lens care.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Strong communication and customer service skills, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination are required. Experience with HIPAA requirements and sales is preferred.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of one-year experience working as an Optician
- Experience with HIPAA requirements
