Role OverviewThe Optician assists patients in selecting, fitting, and adjusting eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other corrective eyewear based on prescriptions from optometrists or ophthalmologists. This role ensures proper lens fabrication, accurate interpretation of prescriptions, and high-quality eyewear dispensing while delivering exceptional customer service.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include assisting patients with frame and lens selection, taking precise optical measurements, fitting and adjusting eyewear, processing orders and insurance transactions, maintaining inventory and displays, and educating patients on proper eyewear care and use.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- ABO certification or state optician licensure preferred (if applicable)
