Role OverviewThe Optimization Engineer II - New Product Development engages in system model development, design optimization, and qualification of new technologies related to domestic potable water heating, space heating hydronic systems, and combination potable and space water heating systems. This position will serve our Water Heating Division, located in Montgomery, AL. Relocation assistance is available.
What You Will Do
Design and optimize solutions for new and existing products, create computer-based component and system level simulations, devise methods of fabrication, testing, and evaluating test results, and develop technology paths with high fidelity prototypes.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in product development, design optimization, and system modeling
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, simulation tools, and programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, MATLAB)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders
