Role OverviewThe Optometric Technician will assist the Optometrist with patient care and eye examinations, screen patients, and provide patient education. The role involves working in a clinic and at shelters connected with the agency. The Optometric Technician will also assist with scheduling, clean and maintain equipment and exam rooms, and perform other duties as assigned.

The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Optometric Technician include assisting with patient care, screening patients, administering eyedrops, providing patient education, and maintaining equipment and exam rooms.
