Role OverviewThe optometrist will conduct eye exams, establish patient relationships, and educate patients on eyecare. They will perform vision tests, diagnose sight problems, and prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications. They will also provide pre- and postoperative care and promote eye health through counseling.
