Job Description
The Operating Room Clinical Lead Orthopedic Surgery position is responsible for providing direct patient care, handling procedures and tasks specific to unit's patient population, and serving as a role model to other staff when providing direct patient care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an NLN approved nursing program
  • 3 years experience as a Registered Nurse (Surgery, Day Surgery, PACU, GI Lab experience, as appropriate for department).
  • (NLC) NURSING LICENSURE COMPACT-BNE Current Texas (or BNE Compact State) license and (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) and (ACLS) ADV CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) required for GI Lab, PACU and Moderate sedation required for GI Lab
