Role OverviewWe have an immediate opening for an OR/PACU RN to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Sandy Springs, Georgia. This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day.
What You Will Do
In this role, the OR/PACU RN will: Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plans; Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery; Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members; Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation; Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed; Provide patient education.

Requirements
- Active RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- 2 to 3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU experience strongly preferred
- Strong technical and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
- Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
