Order Builder Automation

The Material Handler Automation 1 is responsible for replenishing product on semi-automated conveyors by hand within the automated system, correct any conveyor system errors, and to manually build new orders or tear down orders returned to the plant.

What You Will Do

Placement of correct product on conveyor system in semi-automated pick lanes as product releases are relieved from system, Resolution of alarms in pick areas by reviewing monitors when alarms are triggered by release issues and communicate system opportunities in a timely manner via handheld radio.

Requirements

• Minimum age 18 years old
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
• Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
• Conversational English understanding and communication skills required
• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
• Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
• Ability to utilize all company provided resources and technology
• Less than high school education; or up to 1-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to demonstrate adaptability, safety, security, and initiative skills
• Ability to be self-motivated and able to perform job duties with minimal supervision
• Proficient in production cleaning using food grade cleaning solutions
• Ability to climb up to 24ft of stairs
