Role OverviewOrder selectors receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within establishments. They work on a day shift, Monday to Friday, from 10:00am to finish.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include reading production schedules, sorting and storing materials, filling requisitions, and assembling customer orders. Order selectors also use computers to enter records and drive vehicles to transport stored items.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read, write, and perform basic math operations. Order selectors must also be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
