Job Description
An Order Selector is responsible for selecting and loading orders in a warehouse setting. The role requires manual pallet jacking, lifting, and bending, as well as operating a lift truck. The successful candidate will have good communication skills, be able to work independently, and maintain a high level of productivity.

Requirements

  • Pushes, pulls, and steers rolling carts throughout warehouse for order selection and loading.
  • Operates a manual pallet jack, electric 'walkie' pallet jack, and electric 'riding' pallet jack.
  • Picks product onto a pallet requires reaching, pulling, twisting, bending, crouching, and lifting.
  • Operates a lift truck all shift (certified order selector).
  • Performs routine inspections on vehicles and auxiliary equipment.
  • Moves controls to drive powered lift trucks and transport materials between loading, unloading, processing, and storage areas.
  • Loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices.
  • Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
  • Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
