Job Description
Ordnance Manager opportunity with SSI, supporting U.S. Navy services, with responsibilities including managing ordnance and inert munitions storage, supervising employees, and managing inventory.

Requirements

  • An associate’s degree in business and/or management or five years in ordnance and management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 6 years of professional experience in weapons/ordnance handling management experience required.
  • U.S. Navy weapons inventory process experience required.
  • Must be able to obtain a TOP SECRET interim clearance within ninety (90) days of hire and maintain a final TOP SECRET clearance for duration of employment.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid CA Driver's License with Hazard endorsement.
  • Must be able to pass and maintain a certified DMV medical examination.
  • Must be certified or be able to be certified as a QASO in the Qualification and Certification program per the OPNAVINST 8023.24 Series and NMCDETCLINST 8023.24A.
  • Must have completed or can complete AMMO-18, AMMO-49, AMMO 51, AMMO-62, and the Navy/Marine Corps Conventional Ammunition Sentencing Course.
