Role OverviewAs an Area Operations Manager, you will partner with senior leadership teams to plan and navigate the successful operation and growth of our Oregon business. You will oversee a team of over 250 staff and be responsible for delivering infrastructure, environmental, planning, and consulting services. You will work closely with regional business group directors to drive implementation of key initiatives and strategies for growth and profitability.
What You Will Do
Your main responsibilities will include assisting business groups in developing area strategic and operating plans and budgets, partnering with regional business group directors to drive implementation of area key initiatives, and supporting local managers in implementing and monitoring area operations. You will also be involved in the local communities, trade associates, and with clients to be a face of HDR throughout Oregon.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field
- A minimum of 10 years experience in development and management of diverse teams
- Maintains a professional or Engineering registration and has related technical experience
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments
- Good leadership and organizational skills
