Role OverviewThe Organizational Development Specialist assists with organizational need assessments, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training and professional development programs, and assists with strategic HR and change initiatives. This role is part of the USO team, which is comprised of dedicated professionals who share a common commitment to serving the military community.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities of this role include supporting the Organizational Development Manager with organizational development strategies, processes, and assessments, assisting with the development, collection, and analysis of training/OD program data, and administering instruments related to OD/training work.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in organizational development, human resources, psychology, business administration or related field
- 3-5 years work experience in organizational development
- Relevant experience in a non-profit, military, multicultural and/or global organization preferred
- Proficient written and oral communication skills
- Ability to assist with the design and implementation of effective training and development programs
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data from training and development programs
- Experience in projects/programs requiring cross-functional collaboration
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interact with employees at all levels throughout the organization with confidence, integrity and professionalism
