Role OverviewThis is a full-time, on-site role as a Orientation Mobility Specialist serving a school located in Greenville, SC. The Orientation and Mobility Specialist (O&M) will be responsible for providing direct services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents).
What You Will Do
Develop, implement, and assess individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities. Deliver instruction tailored to meet the diverse learning styles and needs of students. Collaborate with parents, educators, and specialists to ensure a comprehensive approach to student learning and support.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- COMS Certification (ACVREP) required or preferred
- 1+ years of experience in a school setting preferred
- Experience working with children with visual impairments
- Knowledge of orientation and mobility assessments and instruction
- Organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in use of technology
- Fingerprint background clearance
