Role OverviewThe ORMC Instructor will conduct platform instruction, research, and develop doctrine, and present instruction to support Special Forces missions. The instructor will also be responsible for safeguarding government property and classified documents, and will travel to CONUS locations in support of MTTs. The instructor will serve as an instructor and faculty advisor to senior Special Forces NCOs, warrant officers, and officers attending the Managers Course.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities of the ORMC Instructor will include conducting platform instruction, researching and developing doctrine, presenting instruction, and safeguarding government property and classified documents. The instructor will also be responsible for coordinating and briefing military and civilian officials, and preparing and executing associated training exercises.

Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Graduate of the ASOT Managers Course
- Completed or able to successfully complete a recognized DoD Instructor Training Course (ITC)
- 4+ years of IC experience
- Applied skill sets OCONUS
- Management experience at the battalion level or higher
- Ten years of Special IC experience preferred but not required
- Ability to use Windows-based operating systems, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel
- Familiarity with the training and governing policies and procedures as they pertain to ORMC programs within the community (IC)
- Knowledge of and skill in the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) approved Systems Approach to Training (SAT) or Army Learning Model (ALM)
- Ability to read and write at a 12th grade level and understand English
- Ability to speak clearly to instruct, evaluate, and counsel trainees in the subtle and difficult concepts of the subject matter
