Role OverviewThe Director of Outlets will oversee the daily operation, service execution, colleague leadership, financial performance, and guest experience for the resort's dining outlets, bar operations, in-room dining, special culinary experiences, and related food and beverage activations. The ideal candidate is a polished food and beverage leader with previous resort experience, strong fine dining knowledge, banquet experience, and the ability to lead teams in delivering exceptional, consistent, and memorable guest experiences.
What You Will Do
Lead daily operations for resort food and beverage outlets, oversee fine dining service standards, partner with culinary leadership, ensure all outlet operations reflect the luxury positioning, service culture, and sense of place of Alila Ventana Big Sur, and support refined service training.

Requirements
- Previous food and beverage leadership experience required
- Previous experience in a luxury resort, destination resort, full-service resort, boutique luxury property, or high-end hospitality environment strongly preferred
- Fine dining restaurant leadership experience required
- Banquet, private dining, wedding, catering, or special event experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of luxury service standards, elevated dining, beverage service, guest personalization, and resort operations
- Previous experience leading restaurant, bar, in-room dining, and/or multi-outlet food and beverage operations preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, motivate, and develop managers, supervisors, and hourly colleagues
- Strong financial acumen, including labor management, forecasting, revenue generation, cost controls, inventory, and P&L awareness
- Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to partner effectively with culinary, events, rooms, spa, sales, stewarding, and resort operations teams
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, menu development, food trends, and luxury guest expectations preferred
- Experience with point-of-sale systems, scheduling systems, payroll systems, guest feedback platforms, and Microsoft Office preferred
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and applicable local regulations required
