Role OverviewMerakey is seeking a fee for service Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Therapist to join their Adult Behavioral Health team in Pottsville, PA. The therapist will provide comprehensive therapeutic services to individuals struggling with substance use disorders.
What You Will Do
Conduct intake assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, deliver ongoing therapy and supportive counseling, monitor client progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, a minimum of one year of counseling experience, and professional licensure is preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Psychology, Addiction Studies, Social Work, or a related field with a concentration in counseling
- Minimum of one (1) year of counseling experience (at least 1,820 hours) in a health or human services setting
- Professional licensure is preferred, including Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
