Job Description
The University of Maryland Faculty Physicians, Inc. is seeking an Outpatient Nurse Practitioner for the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center. The NP will play a pivotal role in the preoperative and postoperative management of neurosurgical patients in the outpatient setting, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Maryland
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by an accredited national certifying body
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of NP experience preferred; neurosurgery, neurology, or surgical specialty experience is preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
