Job Description
The Outpatient Pharmacist ensures impeccable operations by adhering to department policies, procedures, and guidelines. This includes precise compounding and dispensing of prescribed pharmaceuticals, comprehensive medication reconciliation, and providing invaluable consultations to customers. The role also involves dispensing medical and surgical products, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring patient safety.

Requirements

  • PharmD or bachelor's degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Active Pharmacist licensure (in good standing) to practice pharmacy in the state in which you are applying in or and/or the ability to acquire this at the time of hire
  • 1+ years with relevant experience in pharmacy
  • Comprehensive understanding of procedures, systems, and equipment used by pharmacists and technicians in the pharmacy
  • Analytical ability, organizational and personal management skill, and focus to ensure the concerted approach to operations
  • Excellent interpersonal and phone communication skills
  • Proficient with standard software used in healthcare office settings
  • Knowledge and understanding of the federal funded 340B program
  • QS1 and Specialty Pharmacy experience
  • Certified Specialty Pharmacist (CSP) certification from the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP)
