Outpatient Therapist - Family Services Macomb - Limited License

Requirements

• Analyzes clinical histories for diagnostic purposes
• Conducts clinical interviews and provides individual, group, conjoint or family psychotherapy
• Records treatment plan, progress, and other significant information
• Participates as an active team member on an interdisciplinary team
• May administer, score, and interpret psychometric and/or projective tests
• May perform case management functions and act as a liaison with school and/or vocational personnel
• Performs assessments for diagnostic purposes
• Develops treatment plans and prioritizes individual needs
• Provides therapeutic counseling on a limited, short-term basis
• Evaluates progress of individuals on an ongoing basis
• Authorizes medically necessary services
• Demonstrates knowledge of principles of trauma-informed care
• Willingness to support and assist individuals with trauma-related issues
• Completes and maintains all paperwork in accordance with Medicaid and Department of Community Health guidelines, as well as Easterseals MORC policies and procedures
• Attends monthly team meetings to review problems and plan solutions
• Ensures CAFAS/PECFAS completed quarterly for children/families served
