Outside Sales Rep

Requirements

• Establish and maintain good relationships with customers
• Conduct sales out in the field via face-to-face interactions
• Build trust and act as support for prospects
• Offer the best possible customer experience
• Provide hands-on explanations of new or updated products
• Maintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm
• Develop product knowledge by reading current vendor tags and pamphlets and attending training classes
• Stay current with promotional events and sales
• Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
• Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily
• Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
• Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
• Educate customers on how products can benefit them financially and professionally
• Sell the company's products to customers within given territory
• Monitor the company's industry competitors, new products, and market conditions
• Answer oncoming phone calls and assist customers with inquiries and/or sales
• Follow-up calls to customers regarding order status, as needed
• Listen and understand customer needs and offer solutions and support
• Communicate to customers about products' different features and answer questions they may have
• Cross-sell or up-sell products to customers to increase purchase amounts
• Respond courteously and swiftly to customer inquiries and/or complaints
