Job Description
At Hyatt, we believe our guests select Hyatt because of our caring and attentive associates who are focused on providing efficient service and meaningful experiences. Front Office Hosts are responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions.
Requirements
One-year related experience, and/or a combination of education and experience that provides the skills necessary for this position.
High school graduate.
Fluent in English, French, Spanish as well as other languages.
Previous hotel training and experience.
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Refined verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Basic Software Proficiency: Familiarity with applications like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Communicate via proper channels any guest inquires and complaints
Confirm all Red Eye and Pre-Reg guests prior to running End of Day
Turning over the business day utilizing the Opera system End of Day function
Assist with Group Sales accounts by following instructions from Sales Department
Recognizing Elite Members and VIPs
Perform all financial routing and review all Third-Party reservations
