Job Description
Hyatt is looking for an Overnight General Maintenance Engineer to maintain the overall condition, safety, and functionality of the hotel during overnight hours. The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance on guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and basic carpentry issues, as well as monitoring building systems and ensuring compliance with safety standards and local regulations.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of general maintenance experience in a hotel, commercial building, or similar environment.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and technical manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift moderate weight and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Experience in a full-service or luxury hotel is preferred.
  • Experience working in an airport or high-security environment.
  • Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking systems.
