Role OverviewThe Overnight Mobile Crisis Intervention Clinician will provide comprehensive community-based emergency mental health and substance abuse services to individuals and families in crisis. The Clinician will be available to provide interventions during the third shift/overnight, to ensure accessibility and timely response.
What You Will Do
Provide psychiatric and substance abuse evaluation, crisis intervention services, case management, and short-term crisis counseling. Develop and maintain linkages with community services and provide recommendations to clients.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have a master's degree and at least 2 years' experience in human services, preferably in behavioral health. Must possess excellent intake, interviewing, and assessment skills, as well as superb interpersonal skills and commitment to clients.
Requirements
- Master's degree in human services
- 2 years' experience in human services, preferably in behavioral health
- LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC in state of service preferred
- Current version of the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to complete CPR, First Aid, and CPSS trainings
- Pass a multistate CORI, SORI, reference check, employment verification, education and credentialing background check
