Role OverviewThe Overnight Nurse provides nursing assessment, treatment, and consultation as a member of the multidisciplinary team. The role involves providing acute nursing care to students, administering medications, conducting child health evaluations, and communicating with staff, parents, and community-based professionals.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities include providing nursing care, administering medications, conducting health evaluations, and supervising staff. The Overnight Nurse will also be responsible for continuing professional development and education.

Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of the nursing process
- Comprehensive knowledge of appropriate evaluation techniques
- General knowledge of disabling childhood conditions, physical growth and development, cognitive development, mental retardation, cerebral palsy, and communicable diseases
- Currently licensed by the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses
- Must be at least 21 years of age
