Role Overview

The Overnight Safety & Security Supervisor will manage and provide the highest degree of professional and courteous service ensuring the safety and security of all guests, members, associates, and visitors, while overseeing the assets of the resort. The Security Supervisor will ensure that all security officers are performing at an elevated level and will coach and counsel them as needed.

What You Will Do

Conduct pre-shift briefings, delegate duties, interact with management and officers, interact with local authorities, maintain continual surveillance of resort areas, complete security activity logs, respond to incidents, defuse threats or violence, check packages and purses, maintain awareness of suspicious persons, conduct rounds, receive and process lost and found items, train new hires, and perform other reasonable duties.

They will also have experience in a luxury resort or equivalent, first aid and CPR certifications, and knowledge of MS Shift, Key Watcher, and SALTO.

Requirements

  • Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment
  • Proven ability to handle a multitude of tasks in an ever-changing environment
  • Analyze information from several sources and make rapid accurate decisions based on the information gathered
  • First Aid and CPR certifications preferred
  • Knowledge of MS Shift, Key Watcher, SALTO is a plus
  • At least 1 year of progressive experience in a luxury resort or equivalent
  • Able to communicate in the English language. Second language is a plus
  • Able to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks
  • Experience using computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • High school diploma
  • Ability to work in different weather conditions
  • Ability to walk, stand for prolonged amount of time
