Role OverviewHyatt Regency Salt Lake City is seeking an Overnight Security Officer to provide for the safety and security of the hotel's guests and colleagues. This part-time role is based at the premier hotel in downtown Salt Lake City, part of a global hospitality company that values personal connections and exceptional service.
What You Will Do
Enforce rules and policies with respect and professionalism, resolve conflicts using de-escalation techniques, and analyze situations to implement effective courses of action. You will conduct foot patrols, respond to alarms and medical emergencies, utilize CCTV systems for surveillance, and create incident reports while communicating with management.

Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule; including morning, afternoon, overnight shifts with weekend and holiday availability
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Capacity to adhere to established dress code and grooming standards
- Be of good moral character and pass a thorough background investigation
- High School Diploma
- CPR and First Aid required or must obtain within first 90 days of employment
- Certified Lodging Security Officer (CLSO) certification required or must obtain within first 120 days of employment
