Overnight Stocking Manager

The Overnight Stocking Manager is responsible for overall team member engagement, driving recognition, feedback, and coaching, performance management, training, and development, and succession planning. They will oversee area operations and financials, identify and implement process improvements, and serve as a steward of the Meijer culture.

What You Will Do

The Overnight Stocking Manager will engage with team members, identify talent, and engage in career discussions to support overall store staffing. They will also be involved in candid discussions with team members to ensure Meijer standards are upheld and team members have the ability to grow within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience
• Progressive leadership experience preferred
• A passion to provide industry leading service
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with team members in a way that provides clear and precise direction
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information and use that information to make informed decisions
• Demonstrated ability to lead an organization that practices working safely at all times
• Demonstrates proactive/creative thinking and applies it to the business
• A thorough understanding of seasonal and diverse merchandising which leads to meeting the needs of our customers/community and gaining sales and market share
• A strong business acumen
