Role OverviewAs a Full-time Youth Care Worker, you will provide for the physical and emotional needs of adolescent residents (ages 12-18) in a group home setting. You will work cooperatively with other staff to plan and supervise recreational and leisure time activities, and assist in planning and carrying out therapeutic activities for assigned residents.
What You Will Do
Your main responsibilities will include enforcing policies and rules, managing funds, making decisions regarding residents' activities and behaviors, and maintaining proper privacy and security of residents and staff. You will also teach and assist residents in life skills, perform data entry and recordkeeping, and participate in ongoing training and staff meetings.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services/related field from an accredited school
- Minimum age of 21
- Acceptable driving record
- Comfortable working with children ages 12-18
- Excellent organizational and decision-making skills
- Flexibility to work weekend and/or evening shifts
- Ability to work effectively with the adolescent population
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word
