Packer

As a Packer at Novipax, you will be responsible for following safety rules, inspecting products, and setting up packaging machines to meet quality requirements. You will work in a team environment, helping to ensure continuous operations and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

What You Will Do

Your main responsibilities will include inspecting products, setting up Gevas machines, transferring finished products, and adjusting the stacker area to ensure centered pads. You will also be responsible for keeping rollers clean, helping the Dri-Loc Operator, and placing labels on cartons.

Requirements

• Follow all Safety rules
• Inspect product as it travels pad conveyor table
• Set up Gevas machine to package product to specification
• Transfer finished product from conveyor table to either Gevas mini-bagger or corrugated boxes
• Assure all pads meet quality requirements
• Adjust the stacker area as needed to assure centered pads
• Help keep a watch over raw materials in process to assure continuous operations
• Keep all rollers clean when process line is down
• Help Dri-Loc Operator as needed in assuring the best quality possible
• Places labels on plain cartons as required or needed
• Pull plastic bags as needed or required per product specification
