Role Overview

As a Paint/Body Worker I, you will be responsible for prepping, sanding, and buffing painted vehicles, as well as performing other tasks related to the painting and body repair process. You will work in a team environment and be required to follow 6S standards to keep the work area safe and clean. You will work under moderate supervision and be expected to gain full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include prepping, sanding, and buffing painted vehicles, taping and masking off nonpainted surfaces, sealing body seams with epoxy seam sealer, grinding and filling body filler, and operating a buffer to achieve a proper finish.

Why It Might Be a Fit

To be successful in this role, you will need to have 1-3 years of experience in automotive paint prep and body repair, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to run dual action sanders, grinders, and miscellaneous hand tools. You will also need to be able to communicate professionally, follow directions, and work in a team environment.
