Role OverviewThe Painter is responsible for preparing products for paint application, operating painting equipment, and inspecting materials for quality control. The role requires working knowledge of the powder coat process, ability to titrate and adjust chemical levels, and proficiency in troubleshooting common problems. The Painter must also perform cross hatch paint adhesion tests, check paint booth wear, and maintain good quality and production.
What You Will Do
The Painter will prepare products prior to paint application, take mil thickness readings, and make adjustments when out of specification. They will also perform advanced wet painting, perform cross hatch paint adhesion tests, and check all parts of the paint booth for wear and malfunction.
