Role OverviewThe Paint Prep position is responsible for the preparation of cabs and parts prior to painting for Spartan’s emergency response cabs and bodies. The role involves sanding, washing, and masking cabs to create several tones per vehicle. The position requires learning and retaining skills and practices needed to complete duties in assigned areas.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include sanding of cabs in primer state as well as aluminum state, washing of cabs parts before and after primer, masking of cabs to create several tones per vehicle, and meeting production goals. The position also involves self-checking work and inspecting prior processes.
