Job Description
Para Sped High Incidence position assisting teachers in education of students with cognitive disabilities, communication disabilities, and social, behavioral, and emotional disabilities.
Requirements
Supervises students in class setting as directed by the teacher
Assists in managing classroom routines and procedures
Intervenes to redirect behavior and documents any occurrences
Assists in implementing student behavior plan
Provides individual and/or group instruction
Exhibits oral and written communication that is clear and expressive
Maintains high level of confidentiality of information regarding students and staff
Models appropriate behavior for students
Develops and maintains a professional rapport with classroom teacher and other staff
