Job Description
The Para Sped High Incidence position assists the teacher in the education of students with cognitive disabilities, communication disabilities, and social, behavioral, and/or emotional disabilities. The para will assist with instructional activities, manage classroom routines and procedures, and provide feedback to students and teachers.

Requirements

  • Supervises students in class setting as directed by the teacher
  • Assists in managing classroom routines and procedures
  • Assists in the interventions to redirect behavior
  • Participates in effective teaming skills, collaboration, conflict resolution and communication
  • Maintains high level of confidentiality of information regarding students and staff information and issues
