Job Description
The Department of Children and Families (DCF) is seeking a Paralegal Specialist to assist in meeting Federal requirements of Title IV-E and Title IV-B of the Social Security Act, and to collaborate with external partners to obtain required legal documents.

Requirements

  • Two or more years' experience as a paraprofessional including experience in legal research
  • Ability to read and understand legal documents such as decisions, briefs, opinions, and contracts
  • Ability to conduct interviews and resolve problems as necessary
  • Capacity to exercise discretion while handling confidential information
  • Strong ability to write concisely and effectively
