Role OverviewHennepin EMS is an Urban/Suburban, 9-1-1 only, Emergency Medical Services agency that handles approximately 100,000 calls for service each year. The Paramedic position is responsible for responding to requests for emergency medical services and providing Basic and Advanced Life Support to sick and injured persons.
What You Will Do
Respond to all requests for emergency medical services, assess nature and extent of illness or injury, administer basic and advanced life support techniques, perform extrication and rescue of victims, and complete thorough documentation of all emergency runs and patient contacts.

Requirements
- Successful completion of an approved training program for EMT-Paramedic
- Certification by the State of Minnesota or National Registry of EMT's as an EMT-Paramedic
- Valid driver’s license or state equivalent
- Satisfactory driving record
