Job Description
A paramedic in a hospital setting provides advanced medical care to patients in emergency situations, assessing patient conditions, administering life-saving interventions, and stabilizing patients before or during transfer to specialized care units.
Requirements
Must have a Technical Program in Paramedic program
Must have a Paramedic license issued by Florida or Compact State
Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association
Must have Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association
Must have Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association
Must have 1 year of experience in a clinical setting
