Job Description
The Tax Experienced Paraprofessional is responsible for organizing, coordinating and preparing client tax data to ensure accurate and timely completion of business and individual tax returns.

Requirements

  • Plans and executes projects related to tax and consulting processes and procedures
  • Complies with all Firm policies, standards and the BDO Tax Quality Manual (TQM) and seeks advice regarding issues and problems related to tax compliance and consulting
  • Uses and inputs client information into the Contact Resource Management system
  • Researches public information
  • Performs billing and account management
  • Uses the Firm's compliance software to maximize efficiency of tax returns, client billing and account management
  • Meets internal deadlines to match client expectations for timely delivery of service
  • Identifies missing tax return items to ensure that client data is collected in a timely manner and complies with filing requirements
