Job Description

We're seeking a compassionate, driven Exceptional Children’s Teacher Assistant who is ready to champion student growth, independence, and success.

Requirements

Build trusting, positive relationships that empower students to achieve their goals
Support academic, behavioral, vocational, and life-skills instruction
Provide individualized and small-group support to meet student needs
Monitor student safety, well-being, and behavior across classrooms and school settings
Encourage positive self-esteem, reflection, and independence
Assist with crisis prevention and behavior support strategies
Track and document student progress accurately and confidentially
Support classroom organization, instructional materials, and clerical tasks
Assist with therapeutic interventions (e.g., behavior plans, PT, OT) under professional guidance
Support students during off-site instruction, field trips, job shadowing, and transportation as needed
Uphold confidentiality and represent the school positively within the community
Perform other duties as assigned to support student success
