Parents as Teachers (PAT) Family Support Specialist II

The Parents as Teachers (PAT) Family Support Specialist II provides home- and community-based parent education and family support services to expectant parents, caregivers, and families with young children. The role involves delivering evidence-based home visits, partnering with families to establish goals, and conducting developmental screenings.

Deliver home visits, partner with families to establish goals, conduct developmental screenings, and maintain compliance with PAT and MIECHV requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, Social Work, Child Development, Family Studies, Public Health, Psychology, or a related field
• Experience working with young children and families in home visiting, early childhood, education, social services, public health, or related settings
• Valid driver's license and reliable/consistent transportation
• Ability to communicate effectively with families, staff, management, community partners, and referral sources
