Role Overview

The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction is seeking a dedicated security-minded professional to assume the responsibilities of a Parole Services Supervisor in the Dayton Region, Montgomery County. The Parole Services Supervisor will directly supervise a unit consisting of senior officer(s), parole officers, and clerical staff. The role involves determining work priorities, giving work assignments, and reviewing written reports for content and accuracy.

What You Will Do

The Parole Services Supervisor will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including directly supervising a unit, determining work priorities, giving work assignments, reviewing written reports, and approving travel authorization and contact sheets. The role also involves identifying needs and establishing training goals for the unit, conducting and/or arranging for training opportunities, and completing and conducting timely performance evaluation reviews.
