Job Description
Cuyahoga Juvenile Correctional is seeking a licensed Psychologist to oversee facility behavioral healthcare functions. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a solid background and a passion to habilitate youth.

Requirements

  • Develop and perform psychological assessments and evaluations
  • Interview, administer tests, score and interpret tests
  • Prepare reports based on findings
  • Formulate treatment plans based on findings and develop and/or modify treatment as needed
  • Attend unit treatment team meetings representing the psychological component
  • Submit psychological impressions to team
  • Confer with institution professionals regarding program
  • Assure compliance with certifying/accrediting//professional agencies requirements
  • Provide lead work/clinical supervision to student interns
  • Provide and/or participate in individual, group, and/or family psychotherapy rehabilitation sessions
  • Assure documentation of activities
  • Prepare reports as directed and/or required
  • Respond to emergency situations as needed
