Role OverviewThis is an advanced intern position responsible for administrative support to the Director of Community Development as well as other members of the department.

Perform multiple tasks with numerous interruptions, and be able to quickly learn and project needed resources.

Requirements
- High school diploma or two years of related experience with a municipality or public entity
- Post-secondary vocational office/business training or coursework in public or business administration, computer systems, information management or related field
- Skill in the use of personal computers and applicable programs, applications and systems
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles
- Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures, familiarity with post award grant management, bookkeeping and related practices
