Role OverviewThe Security Guard is responsible for providing security services at a client site(s) during scheduled shifts. The guard's schedule, site assignments, and hours are subject to change based on client needs, staffing requirements, call-offs, and contract adjustments.
What You Will Do
Provide security services at the assigned client site(s), ensuring the safety and security of personnel, premises, and assets. Conduct regular patrols of the assigned site and monitor surveillance equipment, ensuring adherence to the client’s security protocols.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, high school diploma or equivalent, valid firearms license or certification, and previous armed security or related experience are preferred.
Requirements
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid firearms license or certification required
- Active PERC and FOID card required
- Must own a firearm with a level 2 retention holster or higher
- Previous armed security or related experience preferred
- Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
- Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods
- Capability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies
