Role OverviewThe YMCA of Greater Erie is looking to hire a Part-Time Assistant Teacher for our childcare program. This position pays $9.38 - $11.73/hour. What You Will Do
As an Assistant Teacher at one of our childcare locations, you assist the child care program director in ensuring a positive and enriching experience for all children involved. You provide proper supervision and discipline for the children, assist with the enrollment of new children, and facilitate the onboarding of each child and his/her parents into the Y Program.

Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in Secondary Education or 2500 hours of documented experience (i.e. Babysitting, Etc)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a physical
- Negative TB test
- Must enroll in a CDA (child development associate) training program within the first year of employment if not already attending or having completed secondary education)
